DGPT Announces 2023 Post-Production Media Plan

January 31, 2023: The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) is pleased to announce its post-production media plans for the 2023 season. In addition to continuing coverage of MPO1, JomezPro will also cover FPO1 for the 2023 season. The DGPT is also pleased to continue its partnership with Gatekeeper Media which will cover MPO2. The Tour also welcomes Ace Run Pro as a year-long media partner to cover FPO2 at Elite Events and Majors.

“We’re excited to unify post-pro lead card coverage on the JomezPro YouTube channel, which has continued to set the bar when it comes to viewership,” said DGPT CEO and Tour Director Jeff Spring. “Additionally, bringing on Ace Run Pro means that fans will have broader access to FPO2 post-pro content all season, not just at the biggest events, adding greater depth to the coverage of the FPO field.”

New in 2023, Central Coast Disc Golf will provide lead card coverage of both MPO and FPO at DGPT Silver Events and will release it under the CCDG brand. All post-production coverage will be available the next day on the individual Media Partner’s YouTube channels, including coverage of Silver Events, which will be published exclusively on the Central Coast Disc Golf channel.

GK Pro, which previously provided FPO1 coverage, will return as a 2023 media partner focusing on GK Pro’s Tour Series Skins, which will become a spectator event taking place the day before each tournament starts. This will be part of a new practice day ticketing initiative from the DGPT that will allow fans to spectate the final day of practice before each tournament starts, including access to special autograph signing sessions from Tour Card players. Tour Series Skins will take place at all 2023 Elite Events.

“We are thrilled to expand our post-production media partnerships this year,” said DGPT Media Director Mahmoud Bahrani. “Media continues to be a cornerstone of growth for the Tour. These partnerships strengthen all parties and ensure continued fan access to high-quality post-produced coverage we’ve all come to know and love.”
