Disc Golf Network Announces 2022-2023 Off-Season Content Slate

Docuseries On Tour Will Debut On Halloween

September 28th, 2022: The 2022 Disc Golf Pro Tour Season will set a new bar for Disc Golf Network’s ever-expanding live coverage package with over thirty events included in its subscription. After twelve Elite Series events, two playoff events, eight Silver Series events, and five PDGA Pro Majors, the Network will wrap its 2022 season coverage by bringing its subscribers inside the ropes for the USDGC & Throw Pink Women’s Championship before a final set of live broadcasts at the 2022 Tour Championship which will be held at the challenging Nevin Park in Charlotte, NC. 

After the Tour crowns its 2022 Champions, the Disc Golf Network will immediately begin the rollout of its 2022-2023 off-season content slate which will debut a groundbreaking docuseries, live coverage of the first-ever DGPT wrap-around season, and a variety of weekly podcast and video content pieces. LIVE Broadcasts & DGPT Post-Pro Coverage 2023 Wrap Around Season 

The first-ever DGPT wrap-around season will begin just two weeks after the 2022 Tour Championship and will award points for the 2023 season. 

  •  Lake Marshall Open ​​(October 28th-30th – Lake Marshall, VA)
  • The New World Championship (November 11th-13th – Jacksonville, FL)

DGPT: On Tour Getting Up Close And Personal 

With the first episode set to air Monday, October 31st, subscribers can enjoy the first-ever in-depth disc golf docuseries from the DGN Films crew – On Tour. With six episodes planned for release on a weekly schedule, the series will take you inside the 2022 DGPT Season as you’ve never seen before. Relive the biggest moments from the perspective of the players, and learn what it takes for our superstar athletes to compete at the highest level. You can watch the full trailer here

Finding The Lines – A Look Into The Process Of Course Design & Development 

After making its Disc Golf Network debut in the 2021-2022 off-season, Finding The Lines will return to the Network this fall for eight episodes. Season 2 takes you to Niksic, Montenegro where 2009 World Champion Avery Jenkins designs and installs the first course in the country. This project, a collaboration with the Paul McBeth Foundation, documents the quest to bring disc golf to a new community and spark new love for the game in former Yugoslavia.
