Day two of the 2018 Discraft Ledgestone Insurance Open has brought the biggest mix up on the leaderboard we’ve seen all year. Currently Paige Bjerkaas leads the FPO division by two at 6 under par. Notably absent from tomorrow’s lead card is Paige Pierce who fell to 6th place today, while Jessica Weese held on to the steering wheel just a bit tighter and is two of Bjerkaas in second place. On the MPO side, A.J. Risley secured a 5 throw lead headed into round three by tieing the hot round at 10 under par today. Cameron Colglazier and Nikko locastro are the proud owners of the other two -10s. With that Colglazier moves into second and Nikko into fifth.

Bjerkaas started the round slow by most standards. Standing on the tee of hole 6, at 2 over par, it was probably hard to imagine this round was going to propel her into first place. Something seemed to change though, from there forward she birdied 7 of the remaining 13 holes and parred the rest.

Playing on the lead card tomorrow with Bjerkaas and Weese will be Catrina Allen (-3) and Missy Gannon (-2). Still worth mentioning in the FPO field is the stellar play from Cynthia Ricciotti who is now tied with Paige Pierce for 6th place. I can only imagine what it would be like to earn a spot on the chase card with the legend Paige Pierce at your very first DGPT event. Read our full coverage of the FPO side for Round 2 here.

On the MPO side there’s are some familiar faces and some less common on the lead card of the Pro Tour too. A.J. Risley played a stellar day today, carding only 3 pars, 1 bogey, 1 double bogey, and 13 birdies. Erase those mistakes on hole 2 and Risley peels away that much further. This tournament is far from over though with two rounds of play remaining there are 10 players within 10 shots of the lead right now and plenty of them are capable of playing lights out. Rounding out the lead card with Risley and Colglazier tomorrow is going to be 2017 USDGC Champ Nate Sexton and Chris Dickerson who are tied with each other at 11 under par. Make sure to check back tomorrow for the most up to date scores and stories. Live coverage starts at 3PM EST with recap footage of the FPO and MPO lead card teeing off at 4 PM EST. You can always follow our coverage on the watch page of our website here. Until tomorrow go shine your headlights on a basket and get some night time putting practice in.
