By Michelle Springett

Are you ready for A Weekend of Music and Fun at the 2023 PDGA Pro World Championships? Worlds is not just about showcasing exceptional disc golf; it’s also about bringing people together for a weekend filled with entertainment, music, and community spirit! Alongside Fiddlehead Brewing Company, this year’s FallFest at Smugglers’ Notch promises to be an unforgettable experience, combining the thrill of disc golf with live musical performances that will keep you dancing all night long.

Fiddlehead Brewing Company, the title sponsor of this year’s fall fest, has a delightful array of beers, from IPAs, Porters, and German-style lagers. Included in their offerings are also wines and ciders from local facilities which are made with local ingredients.

Coinciding with all of the festivities of FallFest, the disc golf world is gearing up for the biggest event of the year – the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships presented by L.L. Bean. Set to unfold starting on Wednesday, August 30, this championship promises an exhilarating clash of disc golf titans like Kristin Tattar, Missy Gannon, Paul McBeth, Calvin Heimburg, and Ricky Wysocki. If you’re in the area, it’s a weekend you won’t want to miss.

Thanks to the generous backing of L.L.Bean, this year’s championship will offer the largest and most lucrative pro purse in the history of Professional World Championship events. With an astounding total purse of at least $275,000 up for grabs, this pinnacle disc golf competition will gather a formidable field of 300 competitors hailing from 12 diverse countries. This dual extravaganza offers an unparalleled chance to witness the next World Champions rise to glory and enjoy a beautiful weekend of music & fun in the Vermont mountains. For those unable to attend in person, the tournament will be broadcast LIVE on the Disc Golf Network, with engaging next-day lead card coverage available on the JomezPro YouTube channel.
