Eagle Mcmahon withdraws from Ledgestone: Shoulder Injury

By Baker Helton
Eagle McMahon withdrew from the Ledgestone Insurance Open presented by Discraft today. He came into the day with a slight injury to his shoulder. Early in the round, he aggravated it and tried to play through it. After pausing on the tee of hole 15 because he was not comfortable with his normal drive he attempted a roller recognizing that he would not be able to complete the round. He then withdrew in an attempt to give his shoulder time to recover for the upcoming European swing and to make sure he was in a good place for Worlds.

The withdrawal comes just three days after Eagle ascended to the top of the Power Rankings .
