JBO Round Two Recap

The cards are set for championship Sunday, and moving day did not disappoint at the 2021 Play It Again Sports Jonesboro Open presented by Prodigy.

Moving day in the MPO saw Ricky Wysocki put together an unbelievable bogey-free round for the second day in a row giving him the lead at -24. Setting the pace early Wysocki cruised through the course with a 100 percent scramble rate, and being unreal from circle 2 with 50 percent of his circle two putts finding the bottom of the basket.

The reigning champion Calvin Heimburg pushed the pace with an impressive -10 to give him -23, and leave him only one stroke away from Wysocki. Paul McBeth also put together a bogey-free round leading towards an 11 down round and positioning himself in third with a -21 heading into tomorrow. Mcbeth and Wysocki weren’t the only players who came out and played bogey-free Casey White who sits tied with Eagle McMahon at -18.

James Conrad also pushed himself up the leaderboard with a bogey-free -10 round leading him to be tied for 6th with Adam Hammes, and Colten Montgomery at -17. Chase Card tees off at 1:32 pm and Lead Card tees at 1:50 pm CT, catch it live only on the Disc Golf Network.

Moving day for the FPO division saw one player start to separate herself from the rest of the field, Catrina Allen was nothing short of dominant with an unbelievable bogey-free -12 round. She sits alone in first place at -20 which matches her score from last year, she matched the mark through only two rounds.

Sarah Hokom found herself sitting alone in second place with a clean -3 round, she pushed herself up to -10 through two rounds. She passed reigning champion Paige Pierce who walks out of her round today with a -1, and a -8 putting herself in third place going into Sunday. Kona Star Paris worked her way into a tie with newcomer Macie Walker at -6, Kona put herself in this position by hitting the fairway off the tee 83 percent of the time that leaves her in third overall in that category.

Macie Walker and Vanessa Van Dyken both find their way at -2, with Van Dyken shooting at red hot -5 round today recovering from a shaky day one.
