SFO Day Two Recap: Gleneagles hosts a great show

Day two is in the books and it is safe to say that the San Francisco Open and Gleneagles Course are great hosts for professional disc golf. What was
originally billed as “just another golf course” is showing even the best are left pushing for par.
In the FPO division, the highlight of the day was Sarah Hokom’s ace on hole three. If you have not already take a moment to watch the ace and share it with your friends. Today was another great day of filming every FPO card . We are looking forward to the highlight reel that we will be releasing once the event is complete.
In the MPO division, Ricky Wysocki threw the hot round (-9) from the third card, moving up a few spots into a tie for the lead going into the final day of competition. Drew Gibson and Eric Oakley tied for the second hottest round at -8 putting them in a tie for third and sixth respectively.
Outside of the play, the San Francisco Open crew is hosting a great event. Today had a schedule full of additional events outside of the professional play. Throughout the day, the Disc Golf Pro Tour festival was hopping with people taking advantage of the gameplay which came with their ticketed admission to the event. After the round was over, Juliana Korver hosted a freestyle exhibition that many of the spectators attended. Saturday night also played host to a massive raffle that was held to support the event. The day was capped by a live drone race throughout the course.
While the San Francisco Open is in its inaugural year, it has stepped up in a major way. The San Francisco Open has been full of energy and we look forward to its return again to the Pro Tour in 2019. Help solidify the SFO as a staple on tour by sharing the live stream and watching tomorrow starting at 4:30 pm ET for the FPO division and 5:30 pm ET for the MPO division.
