Utah Open – More than an event

With great reviews from the players, t he Utah Open is poised to become one of our sport’s premier events. Jade Sewell has put together an impressive team and
an amazing property.
In May 2015, the Utah Open was born. As intended, it was not just a tournament. It was a week of exciting activities that included multiple rounds of golf, meals, clinics, a Flying Circus and miniature golf. In 2016 we partnered with Innova Champion Discs, doubled the number of touring pros, and received rave reviews from all in attendance.
Mulligan’s disc golf course, installed in 2014 on a pre-existing golf course, is approximately 8,340 feet long with seven ponds and lots of sand traps, making it a very challenging course. The scenic mountain views make this one of the most beautiful courses on tour.
At the 2017 Utah Open, Jeremy Koling and Catrina Allen will be defending their titles. In three rounds Jeremy scored an unbelievable -17 under par. With tons of natural O.B. requiring smart technical play, big distance, and the back drop that is Utah, the Pro Tour has found a great new tour stop. This championship level course can’t wait to be part of the Pro Tour in 2017!
Come hungry and thirsty, bring your eyes to watch, your skills for the disc festival and your smile to share. 2017 is going to be a great year for disc golf and the Utah Open will be one of the premier events for a long time to come. The Disc Golf Pro Tour will be proud to settle into Ogden Utah the first week of June. With seven ponds, over 8,000 feet, nine stunning mountains, and $10,000 added cash, this is one event you do not want to miss.
Don’t forget, Toad’s Fun Zone is on site!
