The brackets are set, and we are about to embark on a head-to-head, putting invitational featuring the top Pros in our sport. With 34 men and 16 women competing, the next three weeks will be like the March Madness of putting. Call it May Madness, call it a welcomed break from our current situations; either way, the action is just getting started.

This primer will direct you to a contest that we have running alongside the Virtual Putting Invitational, how to follow the putting competition, and who all is involved.

The Virtual Putting Invitational featured a tiered registration system with some select DGPT invites for the putting greats who do not tour regularly. With some of the top putters in the game, this will be one competition you will not want to miss. Viewers have a chance to get involved as well. The DGPT has partnered up with Infinite Discs and ZUCA to create a Virtual Putting Invitational bracket challenge.

Brackets can be submitted until Wednesday, 5/13, at 6:30 PM ET. Contests are available for both the MPO and FPO brackets. Infinite Discs is giving away a $250 shopping spree for the winner of both the MPO and FPO bracket picks with more prizes for first place in the works. The Disc Golf Pro Tour is giving away a $250 MSRP prize pack to both the MPO and FPO second place winners of the bracket challenge, and ZUCA is giving away a Compact Cart to the third-place finishers of the MPO and FPO bracket challenges. Submit yours, and you could win big!

You can cheer on your picks by watching each match unfold over the next three weekends. Tune in to watch as pros compete (and trash-talk) head-to-head in their bracketed match-ups. Aside from competing, touring pros and a host of disc golf personalities will be on the broadcast to offer commentary and analysis of each match.

This weekend will be the most massive weekend of competition, with the round of 32 and 16 being completed by Sunday. Coverage will begin on Wednesday and run every afternoon and evening through the weekend.

The broadcasts will begin this week with the MPO play-in rounds on Wednesday. Nate Perkins and Andrew Presnell will square off starting at 7 PM ET with Brian Earhart and Jay “Yeti” Reading competing at 7:30 PM ET. Each day’s broadcast will start and end with an analysis of the competition. So make sure to tune it at least 30 minutes early to catch the pre-round show hosted by Mahmoud Bahrani with rotating guests.

On Thursday, we will kick-off the round of 32 with the pre-game show starting at 4:30 PM ET and coverage of MPO Regions A & D running through 10 PM ET. Friday will feature MPO Regions B & C for the round of 32 starting and finishing at the same time.

Saturday and Sunday will be the Sweet 16 for both MPO and FPO brackets. The Saturday and Sunday broadcast both will feature one round from each region for both MPO and FPO. See how the bracket unfolds on Thursday and Friday to find out when to watch your favorite players as they advance throughout the tournament. Rounds this weekend will be broadcast on the Disc Golf Pro Tour YouTube Channel and the Disc Golf Network

Next weekend will feature the Elite Eight of the Putting Invitational for both MPO and FPO. It will also be broadcast on YouTube and the Disc Golf Network. The Final Four and Finals of the Putting Invitational will be broadcast exclusively on the Disc Golf Network for subscribers only.
