For Immediate Release:

Beaver State Fling To Feature Final Day Live Coverage

June 1st, 2022: While initially expected to be out of the range of possibility for the 2022 season, the DGPT is happy to announce that the Beaver State Fling will see its first-ever live broadcast on Sunday, June 12th. The final round will be streamed live on the DGPT’s subscription service, the Disc Golf Network.

On-site signal testing with DGN’s new cellular transmission equipment at Milo McIver State Park has made it clear that a live broadcast is, in fact, possible. “We’re really excited that we’re able to stream from Milo this year,” said DGPT Media Director, Mahmoud Bahrani. “Live coverage is now possible thanks to recent upgrades to the Disc Golf Network’s broadcast infrastructure and local improvements in network coverage. Milo is one of the first courses that really got me excited about the possibilities for growth in disc golf, and I’m so excited to be able to share that with fans who may be new to the sport and will be seeing Milo for the first time. ”

As outlined earlier in the year, the DGPT will also be releasing post-production coverage of each round on the Disc Golf Network and the DGPT YouTube channel. Final day live coverage will feature Milo East, and will be available exclusively to DGN subscribers.

Fans can download a copy of the 2022 season schedule on the DGPT website and subscribe to the Disc Golf Network for $11.99 a month with active PDGA members enjoying a 50% discount. Yearly subscriptions are also available for $99/year.
